Bill Hardy

Bill Hardy currently serves as a Minister and as an Elder for the Palestine Church of Christ in Palestine, Texas.  Over the past 45 years, he has also served as a youth minister, senior minister, evangelist, elder, and missionary. He has served as director at church youth camps, spoken at church lectureships, and served as an instructor at evangelistic workshops. He has also served on the board of directors of various civic and ministering organizations.

He also worked in the department of psychiatry in VA hospitals and the Federal system in Oklahoma and Kansas for 15 years before being recruited  by  the  University of Texas  Medical   Branch (UTMB) in 1996.  He worked for UTMB for 23 years providing psychiatric care via UTMB contracted services within Texas Department of Criminal Justice before retiring in 2017.

Bill was commissioned as a Medical Officer in the Army National Guard in 1983 and rose to the rank of full Colonel before retiring after 33 years of service.

Bill has been married Kathryn Phillips Hardy since 1980. They have five children, five grandsons, and two granddaughters.  Bill and Kathy have served with Gospel Sharing Ministries,  Sojourners, and Home Missions.
